Djibouti is located in the north-east of Ethiopia and overlooks the southern part of the Red Sea, on the Gulf of Aden. Djibouti can almost be identified with the homonymous capital, where 60% of the population resides, also because the territory is very dry and does not offer ideal environmental conditions.
