Papua New Guinea - English Version

Papua New Guinea consists of the eastern part of the almost homonymous island, as well as other islands and archipelagos to the east of the main one. It is the second largest state after Australia, from which it is about one hundred kilometres far away; the morphology of the main island has favoured a subdivision of the population in a great number of tribes, some of which still live very isolated from the outer world.
