Millard Fillmore (Summerhill, January 7, 1800 - Buffalo, March 8, 1874) was an American politician, 13th President of the United States of America (1850-1853). Millard Fillmore was born on January 7, 1800 in Summerhill, in a hut in Locke Forest, New York State, to a family of farmers. Since his parents were very poor, as a child Fillmore had to help them by working hard, both in the fields and as a wool carder.
